Procedure: Phase A: Premix Glycerin and Xanthan Gum add into mixing vessel with water. Add remaining phase A ingredients. Phase B: In separate vessel combine Phase B ingredients while homogenizing until the phase is smooth, creamy. Switch to standard mixing then slowly add phase A to Phase B while mixing until the Phase AB is uniform. Add Phase C mix
well until the product is free from any lumps. Add Phase D one at the time until its uniform.

Procedure: Combine Phase A and heat to 75-80˚C. Disperse Phase B, allow to hydrate, maintain temperature 75-80˚C. Heat Phase C to 75-80˚C. Add Phase C to Phase A/B to emulsify. Homogenize until smooth and uniform. Cool to 35-40oC with mixing, Add Phase D one ingredient at a time, mix until uniform. Adjust pH of batch to 5.0-5.5 Cool batch. Properties: Appearance: white cream; pH: 5.0-5.5; Viscosity: 15,000-22,000 cps #5 @ 20 rpm
