DSM-Firmenich to debut skin rejuvenation active at in-cos Asia
DSM-Firmenich will give a global debut to a skin rejuvenation active ingredient at this month’s in- cosmetics Asia trade show in Bangkok, Thailand. Exovive Lift is powered by plant-derived
exosomes from Alpine apple, Mediterranean tangerine, and Sicilian papaya. Clinically proven to boost skin elasticity by 30%
and reverse wrinkles by eight years, this innovation blends nature and longevity science with cutting- edge imaging and sustainable sourcing. Drawing inspiration from regenerative medicine
and longevity science, plant-derived exosomes represent a quantum leap in skin rejuvenation, the company says. “At DSM-Firmenich we believe the future of
beauty is deeply rooted in understanding the evolving needs of today’s conscious consumer, especially within the dynamic Asia-Pacific region,” said Yusuke Saito, Senior Director of DSM-Firmenich Beauty & Care APAC. “This year at in-cosmetics Asia, we are excited to
unveil our most exquisite science-led innovations to help shape a beauty industry that is innovative,
Alchemy unleashes sprayable, high-oil emulsions
British personal care ingredient maker Alchemy Ingredients has unwrapped Spraymulse, a natural emulsifier system designed to solve one of the biggest challenges in cosmetic formulation: creating stable, sprayable emulsions with high oil loads. At a use level of just 1-1.25%, Spraymulse enables
formulators to create stable, sprayable oil-in-water emulsions holding up to 50% oil—all while keeping viscosity low and texture light. This makes the 100% natural origin, COSMOS-
approved and Vegan-certified ingredient ideal for suncare, body milks, baby care, moisturisers, spritzes, and more. Unlike conventional emulsifiers that thicken with
high oil content, Spraymulse combines two natural emulsifiers with a shear-thinning stabilising system to deliver stable, sprayable emulsions without nozzle clogging, a light, non-sticky feel that absorbs quickly, and a matte, smooth finish without pilling or whitening. “High oil, sprayable emulsions are notoriously
difficult to stabilise without compromising texture and viscosity,” said Alchemy’s Technical Director, Caroline Recardo. “With Spraymulse, we’ve created a natural solution that works every time—without clogging nozzles or sacrificing sensory experience,” she added.

November at DSM-Firmenich’s stand D40 will be Syn-Coll CB, the collagen-activating peptide for lifelong slow-ageing powered by green chemistry for sustainable formulations; and Eterwell Hair & Eterwell Youth, the innovation powered by senolytic science with ethically sourced ingredients for hair and skin longevity. In addition, the Swiss-Dutch firm is
highlighting Parsol SLX, the microbiome-friendly UVB filter that delivers maximum sun protection
with an elevated sensorial experience. Visitors will also discover the DSM- Firmenich proprietary 3D Skin Mapping Tool, an advanced platform that translates complex scientific data into clear, consumer-friendly insights. Another centrepiece of the showcase is the unveiling of TheBeautyBOX 2026,
DSM-Firmenich’s flagship trend guide. Nicolas Lasbistes, director of marketing,
Beauty & Care APAC, said: “TheBeautyBOX 2026 offers valuable foresight into emerging trends and scientific advances, empowering Asian brands to make confident, future-ready product decisions.”
