Procedure: Heat water and tetrasodium iminodisccinate to 50°C with stirring. In a separate container, combine glycerol and polyglycerol oleate and mix until homogenous. To the water, add Calsoft® AOS-40, CalCare™ 190C, and Caltaine® C-35 until homogenous mixture obtained. Add the glycerol/polyglycerol oleate mixture slowly with sufficient stirring to the water-based mixture. Afterwards add phenoxyethanol, fragrances, and dyes to the mixture and stir until homogenous. Allow mixture to cool, then make final pH adjustments (5.0-5.5) with citric acid then adjust viscosity with NaCl.

Procedure: Add A2 to A1 under moderate stirring, mix until homogeneity and heat to 80°C. Place B under stirring and heat to 80°C. Emulsify B in A with high shear for 10 minutes. At 30-40°C, add C then D under moderate stirring. Properties: Thick, white, and shiny emulsion pH = 5.4 (at 1 month) Viscosity (C/5 rpm) = 118,000 cP (at 1 month) Stability 3 months min. at 4°C, at room temperature, at 45°C and under centrifugation (20 minutes - 3,000 rpm)
