On 3-4 June, all eyes in the cosmetics and personal care world will turn to the Javits Centre in New York City for New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) Suppliers’ Day - a powerhouse event where scientific breakthroughs meet consumer trends, and the future of beauty is written in real time. With its fitting theme, The Nexus of Science
and Beauty’, Suppliers’ Day promises a dynamic celebration of innovation, sustainability, and global industry connection. Now in its most ambitious edition yet, this two-day experience is poised to gather thousands of chemists, marketers, R&D pros, and brand visionaries from across the globe.
Unlocking the science behind the beauty This year’s programme features more than 100 hours of education, curated by the NYSCC Scientific Committee with collaborations from leading industry partners and experts. From AI- driven product personalization to sustainable formulation strategies, the topics speak directly to the evolving needs of beauty professionals. The formulators’ tour: a new kind of journey Making its debut this year is the Formulators’ Tour: The Wellbeing of Water, a curated walkthrough exploring waterless innovation,
aquatic-sourced ingredients, and products that conserve, mimic, or enhance water’s role in formulation. Limited spots mean this will be one of the most talked-about activations of the show.
INDIE 360° returns - bigger and bolder Back by popular demand, the INDIE 360° Pavilion, presented in partnership with IBA and CEW, shines a spotlight on 20 emerging brands pushing the envelope in ingredients, branding, sustainability, and compliance. The complementary INDIE 360 conference
track covers every angle: from branding and insights from founders, to contract manufacturing & packaging, supply chain, as well as legal/ regulatory and suppliers providing tools to start- ups. Attendees will have a say in selecting the INDIE 360° People’s Choice Award, recognizing the most transformative brand on display.
Hands-on, future-focused Ahead of the main event, SCC CEP Courses will give participants hands-on formulation experience in makeup and sensory testing.
