COMPANY PROFILE HALLSTAR BEAUTY

The always inspiring Antoni Gaudí, Barcelona’s famed master of Catalan modernist architecture, was openly and profoundly in awe of nature’s superior wisdom. His declaration that, “Anything created by human beings is already in the great book of nature,” is reflected in his buildings’ organic style.

Gaudí also felt deep pride in his Mediterranean heritage for his art. He believed Mediterranean people were endowed with creativity, originality and an innate sense for art and design.

At Hallstar Beauty, we are inspired by great innovators like Gaudi who celebrate the bounty of their native land through their work. And certainly, the Mediterranean region – with its year-round warm temperatures, water of extraordinary clarity, and exceptional biodiversity -- has important significance to our company, products and formulations. Not only are two of our development labs based in that area of the world (Montpellier, France, and Arcore, Italy), but raw materials for our natural ingredients are often locally sourced.

Our latest active and functional naturals make great use of emblematic Mediterranean plants: PLANTS

Myrtus communis, commonly known as myrtle, is rich in health-promoting essential oils and boasts anti-inflammatory and astringent properties

Olives (Olea europea) boost moisturizing, emollient, soothing and elasticizing properties and relieve skin irritations

Thymus vulgaris, known as thyme, is an excellent skin disinfectant and has a relaxing action on the face by stimulating blood circulation

HALLSTAR BEAUTY’S LATEST INGREDIENT INNOVATIONS

FILL OLÉOACTIF® activates natural healing pathways to counter-balance skin aging signs and restore younger skin architecture. The brand-new active ingredient’s socially responsible, ecological, and sustainable value chain includes manual harvesting, natural drying of olive leaves and wild picking of myrtle leaves in partnership with the French association of professionals of wild plants gathering (AFC) whose missions ensure the preservation and durability of plant resources.

OLIVEM® 2090, our W/O emulsifier solution for the most challenging emulsions, also applies our deep knowledge of olive chemistry. It is compatible with several types of oils and has superior wetting properties for powders and pigments. Versatile and easy to use, this 100% natural derived ingredient enables multiple textures with excellent sensoriality and stability.

CLEAR OLÉOACTIF® is an active ingredient based on the sustainable use of an organic thyme co-product with remarkable properties. For maximum efficacy, CLEAR Oléoactif® targets the main mechanisms involved in imperfection-prone skin.

FILL Oléoactif®, Olivem® 2090, CLEAR Oléoactif® can be found in the four Hallstar formulations included here. They are part of our new Mediterranean Collection, celebrating the region’s holistic, natural beauty.
