Procedure: Step 1: Charge a beaker with water. Under moderate stirring, add Mirataine® CB 35 ULS HP MB and homogenize 5 minutes. Heat the mixture up to 63-65°C then add Geropon® T77 PC MB under a high stirring of 500 rpm during 5 minutes. Once powder is properly dispersed, slow down the speed mixing to 150 rpm and let it homogenize during 15 min. Step 2: Add the Cocamide MIPA. When the mixture is homogeneous, keep on mixing for 15 minutes. Then, stop heating and let the mixture under stirring until it comes back to 30°C and add Geropon® EL P MB. Homogenize during 15 minutes. Step 3: Add phenoxyethanol and adjust pH with a solution of citric acid at 50%. Add the required amount of water to fill water loss during the heating step. Re-homogenize. Step 4: In a separate beaker prepare a solution of PEG-150 Distearate at 8% in water. Charge beaker with water, start heating at 65°C. Add PEG-150 Distearate and mix at 100 rpm. When the mixture is homogeneous, keep on heating for 15 minutes. Then, stop heating and let the mixture under stirring until it comes back to 30°C. Add the required amount of water to fill water loss during the heating step. Re-homogenize. Step 5: Add slowly the required amount of solution of PEG-150 Distearate in the main beaker to reach the viscosity target. Control pH.
