Procedure: Heat water of phase A1 to 75˚C and disperse Avicel on high shear (2000/2500 rpm) for 15 minutes.Prepare premix phase A2 and add to phase A1. Mix for 5 minutes. Prepare phase B1 and heat to 75˚C. Add phase B2 just before emulsion. Emulsification: add phase B to phase A under high shear (2500 rpm) for 10 minutes. Cool under moderate mixing until 35˚C and add phase C. Add phase D.

Procedure: Under mixing, disperse Avicel PC 591 into water of phase A1. Maintain mixing for about 15 minutes. Prepare premix phase A2 and add to phase A1, then add phase A3 to combined phase A1+A2. Maintain mixing for about 5 minutes, then heat to 75˚C. Heat phase B to 75˚C. Under rapid mixing (rotor stator 3000 rpm), add phase B to combined phase A1+A2+A3. Maintain rapid mixing for about 10 minutes. Cool under mixing at about 35˚C then add phase C. Complete cooling.
