Procedure: Phase A: in main kettle, charge water and while stirring add Ultrez 10 directly into the vortex. Mix until thoroughly dispersed and begin heating to 70-75˚C. In a separate beaker, combine phase B and heat to 70-75˚C. Premix phase C until uniform to 70-75˚C, and add to phase B. When both phase A and phase B are at 70-75˚C, add phase B to phase A while mixing. Once uniform, begin cooling and add phase D. Continue cooling with slow mixing down to room temperature.

Procedure: Combine phase A ingredients and heat to 85˚C mixing until uniform. Combine phase B ingredients and set aside. Combine phase C ingredients and stir until pigments are wet out. Homogenize for 4-5 minutes on high speed until dispersion is uniform. Add phase B to phase C. Heat to 80-85 ˚C while stirring at moderate speed until uniform. When both phases A and B/C are at 80-85˚C, very slowly add phase A to combined phase B/C. Continue mixing at moderate speed until emulsion is room temperature.
