Procedure: Heat water and propanediol of phase A1 to 75˚C and disperse bentonite under high shear for 15 minutes. Prepare premix phase A2 and add to phase A1 under moderate mixing. Add phase A3 to combined phase A1+A2 (not transparent), around 70˚C. Mix combined phase A1+A2+A3 under high shear, then cool. Prepare phase B and add to phase A1+A2+A3 at 50˚C under high shear for 5 minutes. Cool under moderate shear and below 40˚C add phase C. Add phase D.

Procedure: Prepare phase D: heat water to 70˚C and disperse Surfhope C-1216 under slow magnetic agitation. Heat water and glycerin of phase B to 75˚C then disperse phase C under agitation. Mix for about 20 minutes then add phase D and mix slowly. Prepare phase A and heat to 75˚C. Add phase A to combined phase BCD without mixing. Under vaccum, mix under rapid mixing for about 10 minutes. Cool under mixing and at about 35˚C, add the other ingredients.
