Citric Acid Procedure: Heat up the water of phase A to 80˚C and dissolve Sulfopon® 1214G and Sodium Benzoate in the water.

Heat up phase B to 80˚C and premix. Add phase B to phase A at 80˚C while stirring. Cool down the formulation to 65˚C and add phase C to combined phase AB while stirring. [Attention: perhaps a gel phase will be built] Homogenise the formulation at 65˚C or below – not before the gel phase is finished – with a suitable dispersion unit (Ultra Turrax 3000 rpm/1 minute). After homogenisation cool down the formulation while stirring. Add phase D at 40˚C while stirring. After that add phase E while stirring. Adjust the pH with phase F to 4.5-4.8.
