Zschimmer & Schwarz is a global supplier of chemical auxiliaries and specialities headquartered in Lahnstein near Koblenz, Germany. The family business was founded in Chemnitz in 1894 and is positioned across industries with its 9 business divisions. The company develops, produces and distributes tailor-made chemical auxiliaries for the leather, fur, ceramic, textile and chemical fibre industries. Manufacturers of cleaning agents, personal care products, paints and coatings, lubricants and industrial applications all over the world trust in the company’s chemical specialities as well. The Zschimmer & Schwarz Group comprises 30 companies in 16 countries on 5 continents, 22 of which have their own production facilities.
Shimmering W/O day & night cream: Soft and velvety water-in-oil emulsion with ZETEMOL 512, ZETEMOL OS, ZETEMOL OSB and ZETEMOL MM; this ester combination helps to achieve a light, non-greasy texture, pleasant spreadability and good play time. SEBUMOL WO 300 is the main emulsifier. Emulsion stability is increased by an O/W emulsifier, PROTELAN AGE. The desired viscosity is reached by adding different waxes plus a solid ester such as ZETEMOL MM. This emollient is a good viscosity builder.
Nourishing shower oil: Water-free shower oil enriched with vegetable oils. The clear solution is obtained by combining LUMOROL K 5229 and ZETESOL TP 300. The special feature of this product is that it turns into a white foaming emulsion when applied to wet skin. Thanks to LUMOROL K 5229 and ZETESOL TP 300, a high amount of oil can be incorporated, leaving the skin soft and moisturised after showering.
Natural shampoo syndet for long hair: In line with the current market demand for water-free products, Zschimmer & Schwarz is developing several formulations based on ZETESAP 915 CS. This is the key ingredient for on-trend solid products.
Liquid lipstick ‘Glitter explosion’: Water-in-oil emulsion for liquid lipstick with SEBUMOL WO 300 as emulsifier. The specific combination of esters like ZETEMOL 2IS, ZETEMOL 5418 and SEBUMOL SPC allows to achieve a unique texture and a perfect pigment dispersion. The ether ZETEMOL OE enhances the lightness of the formulation.
