Duluth, GA — New technology from Viscom is focused on the challenges that arise from increas- ing production changes and higher volumes, miniaturization and Industry 4.0. The company has introduced its X7056-II automatic 3D X-ray inspection system. It has been developed for extremely high throughput and superb image quality for high-end electronics production. The new in-line AXI system can precisely
inspect hidden solder joints and components dur- ing high-volume production. It is equipped with Viscom’s xFastFlow transport module, which cuts PCB changing times. With this feature, up to three boards can be processed at the same time. The new handling design also means that significantly larg- er board sizes can be inspected and the scope of angled radiation is extended. The company also offers a versatile range of 3D
AOI systems. These include the S3088 ultra goldwith brilliant image quality, 121 MP resolution and excellent defect detection, as well as the high-perform- ance S3088 ultra chrome for high throughput. Viscom’s 3D systems are based on a combination of intelligent software and special camera technol- ogy, so that components and solder joints can be measured in 3D. This results in explicit defect identifica- tion and fewer false calls. Using the company’s vVision
operating software, inspection pro- grams for new components and compo- nent groups can be created easily in a
Fast-Curing SMT Adhesive from Panacol
Steinbach, Germany — Panacol has introduced a new adhesive designed specially to attach SMT devices to circuit boards. Structalit® 5610 is a fast-curing, high-viscosity adhesive that is suitable for screen printing. The material is a red-colored
epoxy adhesive, which makes it con- trast visually with green circuit boards. The single-component epoxy is applied easily with a dispenser, screen printer or needle. The adhe-
short time. With its up-to-date GUI and numerous user-friendly settings, operation is very intuitive.
This is Viscom’s answer to the requirements of medi- um-sized companies in particular, including small lot sizes, frequent production changes, component miniaturization, and efficient personnel deployment. Viscom also meets the demand for major glob-
al enterprises to integrate their inspection systems into Industry 4.0 process lines. The company has the ability to handle networks and master comput- ers with different standards. The Viscom systems also contribute to big data analytic programs by furnishing large amounts of information for exter- nal evaluations. Contact: Viscom Inc., 1775 Breckinridge

sive cures thermally within minutes, even at low temperatures. It is also highly resistant to heat and can be exposed to temperatures up to 536°F (280°C), making it compatible with reflow soldering. Once cured, the material is
extremely shock resistant and ex - hibits high adhesion to FR4 circuit boards, metals and epoxy-based mold materials. Contact: Panacol-Elosol GmbH, Daimlerstrasse 8, D-61449
