Newtown, CT — Sonics & Materials has introduced its new 2,500W, 15 kHz X-Press ultrasonic welder. The unit is an all-in-one, super- rigid, ultrasonic welding press with a built-in micro- processor.
Eliminating the need for
a separate power supply, the press has a single-piece, rigid, cast-aluminum mach - ine base and column hub, along with easy-access front panel pneumatic and micro- processor controls. Previously available at
20 kHz, the new 15 kHz model is available with 2,500W of power, and welds in digital time or constant energy modes. The 15 kHz X-Press
