AREDSDDS A SPLASH OF COLOUR TO GRIMSBY!

As one of the market leaders providing qualified diving and engineering solutions to the renewable energy sectors REDS is delighted to announce the official opening of their new offshore support base in Grimsby.

AND THEN THERE WERE 3 Enjoying their 4th successful summer at Grimsby undertaking projects offshore this now allows them to cement a place within the community which was the next natural progressive step. Situated in the burgeoning ‘renewables hub’ at the South Humber Industrial Albert Docks the 400metre square facility brings the REDS support bases now to a total of three – with Headquarters in Rugby and a further support base in Fife, Scotland.

SOLUTIONS TO ENGINEERING CONUNDRUMS

Having been established for over 15 years they have gained an enviable reputation providing dive teams and solutions to a wide range of access and engineering conundrums.

PROJECTS AND ACCREDITATIONS With over 25 plus major offshore projects under their belt both nationally and now globally their expertise and skilled capabilities allow them to pool on their experiences to provide a portfolio of turnkey solutions from…

• Project management • Dive support vessels • 24 hour operations • Rope access and confined space • Working at height

All in the knowledge that these projects are undertaken with the highest safety standards implemented (Accreditations galore: ISO 9001 UVDB Achilles, IRATA; RoSPA ISO 14001 ADC and a whole host of additional essentials) to ensure a quality, reliable and cost effective service to clients.

A TASTER…

This short scribe can be described as an ‘amuse bouche’ for the company as we look forward to speaking with Ed Woodrow, Marketing Director in the next issues where we focus on the company in more detail and find out how the Grimsby offices are settling in, not to mention some very interesting and possibly toe-curlingly fascinating feats of skill the team of divers endure within the O&M of the renewables sector – from diving into the middle of the monopiles ….hold that thought! Providing a leading diving offshore service.

In my brief converse with Ed he concludes that “the company very much looks forward to developing the diving services and continuing to provide a leading diving offshore service not only here and in Europe but further afield – exciting times!”
