DELIVERING REQUIRED OUTCOMES
With a combination of experience and training knowledge it has been demonstrated many times that the one size fits all approach will not always provide the desired outcomes organisations require in terms of a cohesive and clearly visible positive safety culture.
HSE performance is all inclusive and an essential element of operational excellence. It is this positive safety culture that will nurture positive HSE behaviours which, in turn, improves overall business performance.
INDUSTRY CULTURAL SURVEYS
Cross industry cultural surveys have clearly shown, that organisations which demonstrate consistent and unambiguous levels of communication, high visibility of leadership and supported by strong, active workforce involvement are most likely to succeed in the goals and targets aspired to in its high level HSE corporate policies.

An established tool or system that works well in one company does not always necessarily work in another.
BEHAVIOURAL SAFETY PROGRAMMES Behavioural safety programmes are a good example. The typical production platform programme for 100 plus personnel, which also employs a level of anonymity as part of the process, will simply not work in the same way on a marine vessel with a crew of 12 to 15 personnel.
This is a small, intimate team who work and live closely together. In some circumstances where the marine companies do not have a behavioural safety programme, a production platform based system is imposed by the client that can be detrimental at best and ineffective at worst.
ENSURING THE BEST RESULTS
Marine companies with whom we have worked clearly display a strong desire to continually improve their safety leadership and behaviours.
By working closely with the company leadership team, planning a fit for purpose training and combined vessel safety
