RapidProto Offers Three-Day Assembly
Indianapolis, IN — RapidProto™ is now offering one- to three-day pro- duction quality assembly options to fast-track product to production. Using the latest equipment and tech- nology, a high-level ERP system, technician-level assemblers, quality validated boards and parts are com- ponents of a smooth build. When prototyping, engineers
are interested in what works and what doesn’t, what fits or not, and if testing is showing strange results. They need to know that they can count on certain things: good parts,
quality assembly practices, and that the bare PCB was built to the exact specifications requested. After ruling out bad parts, PCB
fabrication errors and assembly er- rors, the engineer is then left with fewer variables to chase down. This allows finalizing a design to be much faster, saving both time and money in iterations. The most critical piece, the
printed circuit board, is supplied by DIVSYS International, and the labo- ratory verification that DIVSYS pro- vides — that the board is made to the engineer’s specification — is an inte- gral piece of the RapidProto recipe. Engineers do not have time to chase PCB fabrication “ghosts” when they are nailing down a design. Removing further variables, the company uses customer-supplied components, or can purchase the components from reliable distributors, and assemble
