Electronic Assembly: High Contrast OLED Displays
Gilching, Germany — Electronic Assembly has introduced its EA OLEDL128-6 family of versatile OLED displays. The displays offer outstanding readability due to their high-contrast and wide viewing angle. Designed for over 50,000 hours of operation, the display mod- ules have a rapid response time, even when subjected to temperatures as low as –40°C (–40°F). The modules are available in
different versions to suit specific needs, with the entry-level module designated OLED128-6LGA. The OLED128-6GGA version is fitted with an additional front screen to protect against scratching and UV rays, and to establish a defined dis- tance from the front of the device. The OLED128-6NGA comes without a polarizer, but does have a silver background that makes it suitable for installation behind a tinted glass screen. Accessories available for all versions include a touch panel, which can be used to create interactive

device control systems. Data exchange with the control electronics is optional through an
OLEDL128-6 series OLED displays.

Leader Tech Intros Thermal Gap Filler Sheets
Tampa, FL — Leader Tech has intro- duced a complete line of thermal gap filler sheets. The initial product launch of the TGF series includes 13 formulations that deliver thermal conductivities ranging from 1 to 6 W/mK.
The low-cost thermal gap fillers
are available in thicknesses from 0.2 to 13 mm (0.008 to 0.5 in.) and can be ordered in a wide variety of standard and custom profiles and sizes. Most of the common thicknesses are avail- able from inventory, while all others have short lead times. When sandwiched between a
heatsink and heat source, such as a microprocessor or power converter, the TGF materials conform to sur- face irregularities and help to elimi-
nate performance-killing air gaps. The resulting increase in surface con- tact with the heat source dramatical- ly improves the cooling effectiveness of the heatsink.
