F LOUNGE, DINER AND BAR

The F Lounge, Diner and Bar (F-Bar) bears a name that describes it to a tee. It opens during the day to serve lunch and dinner from a menu conceptualised by Michelin Star chef Vineet Bhatia, then from 11pm until 1.30am it turns into a high energy bar and lounge, which plays fashion TV music.


F-Bar is located inside One India Bulls Center in Lower Parel, Mum- bai, a highly regarded, affluent area of the city that is also home to other well known nightlife establishments including Blue Frog, Shiro and Hard Rock Café. With that in mind, the brief was to ensure F- Bar superseded its competitors in terms of technology and popularity.

Delhi-based Audio Jewellers - a fairly new company specialising in audio and lighting design and installation - approached Directors of F-Bar, Rajan Madhu and Puneet Nathat at rather an odd time. The owners were close to finalising the sound and lighting equipment for F-Bar, however, after a proposal from Audio Jewellers Directors Shitij Harnwal and Narinder Pal Singh they quickly changed their minds. Rajan and Puneet - along with Head of Artistic Direction at F-Bar Mumbai, Kris Correya - attended a Tannoy product demonstration hosted by Audio Jewellers supported by India distributor Acoustic Arts. The response was positive and resulted in the contract to fit out the Mumbai venue being awarded.


Narinder explained the brief: “The event planning team that handled the events at the best bars in Mumbai were hired here at F-Bar to achieve that same fame. The guys basically wanted to improve the
