THE DESIGN OF LIFE NIGHTCLUB BEGAN WITH HIGH EXPECTATIONS IN TOW AS IT IS HOUSED INSIDE ONE OF THE LARGEST BUILDINGS IN BEIRUT. CO-OWNER MAURICE SALLOUM SELECTED HI FI SERVICE, WHICH SPECIFIED A DYNACORD SYSTEM TO FULFIL THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE TASK.
one of the largest nightlife venues in the capital, every detail would be examined by the locals. used acoustic and sound system simulation CAD software, Ulysses, which calculates the acoustics within the room and provides an opti- mal simulation.
The venue has a large motorised retractable roof that can be opened to create a semi-outdoor venue. The main room resides in the centre of the venue and covers a large portion of the space. To the left and right of the main room there are seating areas, however, these can be closed off if necessary, for example during the week when the club is less busy than at weekends.
The audio system comprises eight Dynacord VL212 dual 12-inch mid highs covering the main area, which are reinforced by 10 Dynacord VL112 12-inch full range loudspeakers and five Dynacord VL262 2-way cabinets covering the upper tier areas. A total of six Dynacord SUB 28 subwoofers and eight Dynacord SUB 18 subwoofers were
