Lab.gruppen and Pioneer -also took note of the importance of education. Newly appointed to the position of DiGiCo Sales Application Specialist, Dan Page said: “The response to DiGiCo’s presence at the show was fantastic. The 12 consoles on the Rivera booth were busy all the time. Rivera International provided a sepa- rate, dedicated training room, giving us the space to allow real world user training in dedicated groups. It was a truly great show and platform on which to introduce even more local engineers to DiGiCo.” d&b audiotechnik also had a successful show, its distributor Digital Advantage sold its first J Series system, which was quickly followed by the sale of its first V Series system. While live demonstrations from Harman in the live performance arena and outdoor demonstrations from Lynx and EAW allowed products to be showcased in a realistic environment was another positive element of the show. Overall the response to the show was extremely optimistic and many people said they were looking forward to returning next year and expect to see the show ad- vance even further.
