To avoid time smeared late arrivals and reflections, a speaker with tight vertical dispersion characteristics was needed. Marquee The Star was equipped with the very latest technology. This venue marks the first installation of the MLA. The product is a fully integrated, powered, networked, computer controlled system. The onboard DSP allows each individual cell in the array to be controlled using optimisation software. Therefore the coverage of the array can be altered when necessary - without affecting the frequency response.
