PROLYTE PRODUCTS UK LIMITED ACQUIRES BRILLIANT STAGES
Prolyte Products UK Limited, a subsid- iary of Prolyte Group has announced its acquisition of UK-based stage set fabrication company Brilliant Stages. Brilliant Stages is a multiple award win- ner in the design and construction of stage sets and custom fabrications for the touring and events industry. Brilliant has been at the core of some of the most celebrated touring shows ever produced, and boasts an impressive cli- ent list that includes the Rolling Stones, Coldplay, U2, AC/DC, Take That and Lady Gaga.
The acquisition further strengthens the project capabilities within Prolyte Group, and will be managed by Prolyte UK under the stewardship of Manag- ing Director Lee Brooks. Tony Bowern, General Manager of Brilliant Stages, will continue to drive the business through the delivery of world-class projects.

NEW AREA SALES MANAGER FOR MGC LIGHTING GROUP
International lighting distributor, MGC Lighting Group has appointed Jorge Villalba in the role of Area Sales Man- ager at the company’s Spanish office in Valencia.
Jorge, who has worked in the lighting industry for the past 10 years, will be responsible for securing new business opportunities in Spain. PRO AUDIO STASH OPENS TEXAS OFFICE AND FACILITY
UK based professional audio, AV sup- plier and 19-inch racking specialist Pro Audio Stash (PAS) has opened a new office and warehouse in Austin Texas, which is being managed by Marcus Butler.
The new office - PAS’s first in the US - is part of a planned expansion strategy for the company in the US, which will offer an extensive range of innova- tive standard and custom products, built to the highest standards at highly competitive prices. Over the last two years PAS has been
steadily expanding its range of 19-inch rack range enclosures and accessories. The new facility will allow the UK based manufacturer to offer the same quick and efficient sales and distribution service for which it is renowned, right there in the US.

EM ACOUSTICS APPOINTS STAGE ELECTRICS
EM Acoustics has announced the ap- pointment of Stage Electrics as a UK dealer for the brand. Philips Entertainment has announced that Steve Carson is stepping down as the Chief Executive Officer of Philips Entertainment, and Matthijs Glastra will take over as the new CEO. Glastra joins Philips Entertainment with an 18- year executive track record in the LED, entertainment lighting and semiconduc- tor industries. Carson will remain with Philips Entertainment for the remainder of the year to ensure a smooth transi- tion.

Korea’s C&C Lightway Inc has signed a joint venture agreement with Aamal Company Q.S.C, one of Qatar’s fastest growing diversified conglomerates in Doha. With C&C’s experience and techno- logical know-how in the industry, the joint venture company will kick off the distribution of LED and other lighting products for the Qatari market and other GCC countries.
