DYNACORD | POWERMATE 600-3 www.dynacord.com

The PowerMate 600-3 is suitable - thanks to its no-compromise approach - for all professional applications in which few channels yet very high amplifier output are required. The youngest offspring of the PowerMate family weighs in at a mere 9kg. The feature set of the PowerMate 600-3 includes extremely low-noise and low-hum, electronically balanced XLR microphone inputs (extremely low THD, typically <0.002%), stereo line channels, digital audio interface (USB port), PC-MIDI interface and a master section tailored to the needs of day-to-day practice that features a 9-band master stereo equaliser. The Class-D stereo power amplifier delivers a nominal output of 2 x 1,000W RMS into four ohms and has Dynacord’s tried-and-tested protection package on board. The unique speaker protection technology allows optimal and operationally safe adjustment of the continuous power output of the PowerMate’s power amplifiers to the speakers connected. Furthermore, through dynamic limiting of the maximum power at the output, loudspeaker damage through thermal overload can be avoided without sacrificing the wide dynamic range of the power amplifiers.

LITESTRUCTURES | LITECONSOLE XPRS www.litestructures.com

Prolyte Group has unveiled the latest incarnation of its renowned performance platform, LiteConsole. XPRS combines all the most desirable features of LiteConsole in a sleeker, lighter package. The new design makes the system even easier to assemble - it now takes one person just a matter of minutes. The innovative folding frame design means the LiteConsole XPRS will flat pack and fit into an average car, leaving plenty of room for other equipment. LiteConsole XPRS is an extremely versatile podium structure that offers a portable and high-visual-impact solution for any number of applications from live musician and DJ performances, to corporate AV presentations, exhibitions, conferences and retail environments where it makes an extremely eye-catching stand. LiteConsole XPRS modules comprise just six primary easy-to-connect sections. Standard modules are designed to house a logo panel, although this open space could feature a 50-inch plasma screen, back-lit corporate logo, LED panels, starcloth, or any other form of messaging.

LPS-LASERSYSTEME |X-BEAM www.lps-laser.de

The X-Beam - available in 1400RGB and 2000RGB versions - is suitable for small clubs, discos, mobile DJs and event technicians as well as for first-time users. It combines innovative and modern technology, with its timeless design and high functionality to produce a product with an excellent price performance ratio. The laser power is provided by a 30 kpps graphic scanner.

MARTIN PROFESSIONAL | VC-GRID 25 www.martin.com

Martin Professional has launched the VC Series of creative LED video. Part of the series is formed by the VC-Grid 25, a small, 200mm x 200 mm LED video module with a 25mm pixel pitch. Useful in creating customised LED video solutions with maximum artistic flexibility and a minimum of effort, the VC-Grid 25’s compact size makes it extremely suitable for integration into stage designs, set elements, creative ceilings, lobbies and much more. Used with or without a front diffuser, multiple VC-Grids can be combined in a countless variety of ways for ultimate design freedom. A combined power / data cable allows VC- Grids to be daisy-chained for easy set up and less cabling. Compatibility with Martin’s P3 system controller family provides high-quality image processing capabilities with extremely easy set up and configuration. Instead of relying on DMX, the P3 system allows for true video control with superb ergonomics. Performing at the highest level thanks to pixel-level calibration and a true video-processing engine (gamma curves, colour control, synchronisation and video frame rates), VC-Grids also blend perfectly in with video panels as they perform at the same level. The VC-Grid 25 is supported by the P3 PowerPort 1500, an integrated power and data processor with flexible installation options.

MASTER AUDIO | X-208 www.master-audio.com

Master Audio has developed 8-inch speakers to produce precise performance and fidelity in the low-distortion warm mid-bass range. An 110º horizontal coverage and full-range frequency response is achieved by optimum acoustic pattern and bass-reflex design. Each array is constructed in multiples of four modules: one active unit X208A, which includes the amplification modules and the digital signal processor (DSP) and up to three passive units X208P, which are driven by the X208A. Exclusive waveguide design is composed by set of one planar waveguide loaded by two polypropylene naphthalene (PEN) dia- phragm compression drivers have been designed exclusively for this model. The result is a focussed sound energy and a crystal clear performance at high frequencies. Inter-cabinet connection is set via front-mounted fix linking plates and angles are set via rear-mounted adjustable plates. Digital processing and amplification is included with an inside DSP with 24-bit high-end AD / DA converters, 112dB dynamic range and 96kHz sampling frequency is responsible of the digital signal processing. It incorporates several factory presets, which facilitate the optimisation of the system in a wide range of applications. The DSP is tightly integrated with two Class-D third generation amplifiers, enabling the delivery of maximum power to the transducers in a controlled way.

OUTBOARD | TIMAX www.outboard.co.uk

Out Board Electronics has recently introduced the TiMax SoundHub-M version to augment the versatile suite of TiMax system processors and audio show- control products. The M-Version is targeted towards museums and visitor attractions to provide a multi-channel playback server linked with audio localisation to bring a higher level of message impact and immersion to the all-important visitor experience. The M-Version is a streamlined TiMax2 Soundhub tailored as a museum playback server and matrix, with versions ranging from 32 up to 64 outputs / audio-tracks with just eight inputs for key external sources such as show relay and announcements. In line with its usage requirements, the unit has a plain front panel with no display or controls.
