Reflection
Just as we believe that God chose Mary to be his vessel in bringing the Holy Child into our world … so we believe the words in Ephesians 4: "God chose us in Him before the world began, to be holy and blameless in His sight, to be full of love...”
On a recent morning, as I was in the basement going through a large box of old photos, I found a yellow sheet of lined paper, folded in three. To my amazement, it was a treasure…if I were to name two people in my life who could be described as "love full of action" it would be my Uncle Murph (Frank Murphy a white haired, successful salesman, golf-playing & rosary praying fun uncle) and my Mom (a.k.a. "Sis"…also a rosary praying nurse, full of fun). Yes "full of love"…just as in Ephesians!
Opening the yellow legal sized lined paper I was surprised to see Murph's hand written note to my mom. She had sent her brother-in-law two packages of legal pads for his birthday (at her sister Rosemary's suggestion).
