After completing the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in hospitality service, the Certificate Level 2 in hospitality and catering principles and Level 1 in both English and Mathematics, learners are awarded a Level 2 apprenticeship in hospitality. “An apprenticeship with such a

Case study


George Drabble, apprentice George went from strength to strength, both personally and


professionally, after starting the Amadeus apprenticeship. He gained experience working at the Barclaycard Arena, the ICC, the National Exhibition Centre and Genting Arena. George says: “I have built strong


relationships across all the sites. I am really excited by this opportunity and I will be taking the responsibility seriously. The apprenticeship has taught me so much and I can see how far I have come.” George made such an impression that the decision was taken to train him as a supervisor six months earlier than planned.
