The Role of the Paediatric First Aider 2.3 First Aid Equipment


BS-8599-1 is the British Standard for First Aid Kits in the Workplace.


These kits are available in different sizes to meet the needs of different sized companies (small, medium, large and travel).


You can of course add items to a first aid kit (ice packs, novelty plasters for children or a child sized pocket mask) but do not add medicines, creams or lotions which may harm a child.
