1 Luxury Fine Foods
Showcased three traditional Swiss foods: Tante Agathe kosher biscuits, Brutschi sweet and semi-puffy tartlet shells and new Michel Ebener air-dried meat. Pitched as a healthy snack, low in calories and high in protein, the meat is pork and beef and comes pre-portioned. It will be available with a halal certification soon.

2 FlyFit
The company had several new products at WTCE, including new apple cinnamon chips and a move towards the savoury snack with beetroot chips, both available in pouches. For the first time, FlyFit is completing its meal offering with two healthy sandwiches. E number-free and including a superfruit cranberry compote, the sandwich comes frozen and in chicken or cheese.

3 Chiquita The fruit specialist has some new fruit portions,
perfect as a healthy snack. Hand-cut and packed strawberries in an box or grapes in a tube. Chiquita was proud to shout about its sustainability at WTCE, telling OBH how all its bi-products are used to produce bio electricity and can supply up to 80 houses in the Netherlands for the year.

4 Minibite by Hoppe
Minibite offers a full range of portion-packed sweet biscuits and savoury snacks. New products showcased at WTCE included the single-packed large butter syrup waffle (32g) and a new packet of BBQ flavoured mini nachos (15g).

The star of the Nestlé stand was its Milano Lounge Machine, described as the iPad of the coffee machine world. Its computer screen lets customers customise their coffee’s blend, strength and milk. Diversey, now part of Sealed Air has launched a new aircraft cleaning solution to help airlines to optimise aircraft turnaround time and increase financial competitiveness using its Microfiber system.

6 Cufrol
The Umbrian oil makers have a new range of extra virgin olive oils in association with Italian celebrity chef Bruno Barbieri. There are three varieties in the Terre Francescane by Bruno Barbieri range, each characterised by unique hues and aromas for use with meat, salads and fish. The Michelin-star chef has paired each with a video recipe, downloadable from a QR code on the label.
