1 San Matteo


Italian wine producer, San Matteo, has 40 hectares of vineyards in northern Italy. The company offers the travel catering market its range of red and white blended wines in green PET bottles in a range of sizes starting from 0.187l. Its latest product, its first Prosecco, is aimed at the premium cabin. Villa Degli Olmi is an extra dry variety of the sparkling wine. sanmatteo.com


2 Paradies


Operating in retail since 1854, German family- run bedding manufacturer Paradies has over 300 products in its range and was at WTCE to demonstrate its ability to work with airlines to create bespoke bedding solutions. Amongst its range of goosedown and synthetic-filled bedding is also a polyester-fibre filling which uses a self-developed machine technology to tease the fibres into a higher fleece. This withstands flattening over time. Paradies also launched an eco range in 2012, which uses recycled PET combined with Fairtrade cotton. paradies.com

3 Skypro


The cabin crew shoe specialist set up shop in WTCE, proudly displaying its wares – now officially the world’s first certified aviation footwear, according to the EN ISO 20347:2012 standards for occupational footwear. 4 Scholas


Korean education specialists Scholas had an impressive selection of its signature products on display – 3D Puzzle Pop Out World. The incredibly light paper and foam-board puzzles pop out from a flat board where the simple instructions for constructing them are also found. Scholas has a Disney license but its puzzles cover a huge range of subjects and re-create historical buildings, animals and other popular children’s themes. 5 Boutsen Design


Formerly dedicated to the interior design and supply of private jets, Boutsen Design is Monaco-based and was at WTCE to widen its horizons into the premium classes of commercial airlines. Boutsen’s range of beautiful products range from high-end crockery and crystal-ware to cashmere blankets and amenity kits. Boutsen was showcasing MyDrap, unique cloth napkins on pre-cut rolls, ready for cabin crew to unwrap and use. The biodegradable napkins come in a variety of sizes which can be used as coasters, placemats or serviettes, can be purchased in any colour and come in cotton or linen varieties. boutsen.com


6 Fiore de Puglia


Fiore de Puglia launched a new style of packaging at WTCE. This is the company's 20th anniversary year and the new look is designed to reflect the quality of the savoury snack range and its Italian origins.
