Titan turns to Royalblue service
London Stansted-based Titan Airways has announced a new partnership with executive jet caterer, Royalblue Executive Services.
Middlesex-based Royalblue specialises in catering for the executive jet market and will serve Titan’s 12-strong, growing fleet ranging from its six-seat Cessna Citation CJ2+ to its 265-seat Boeing 767.
The partnership further bolsters Titan’s inflight experience ensuring continued high levels of customer service to its VIP, business traveller and tour operator charter clients. Stansted-based Gate Aviation will continue to pack Titan’s dry stores, bars, kiosks and ‘go now’ flights, thus maintaining and ensuring the airline’s signature rapid response capability in the airline sub-charter market.

ONBOARD CATERING EnRoute's BA breakfast
British Airways has launched a new breakfast service on all night flights from the US to the UK, in a joint development with EnRoute International.
The light meals are offered to World Travel passengers as a London breakfast service about an hour before the flight arrives, and are presented in boxes styled with images of iconic London bulidings like the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Big Ben and the 02 Arena. Food options include all-butter croissants and a wheat-free granola bar, naturally fat and- cholesterol-free and made with whole grains oats, quinoa, amaranth and dried cranberries. Daylight flights feature a luxury cranberry orange slice and a yoghurt-based cake filled with cranberries and flavoured with orange. Passengers in First and Club World will soon be able to savour a selection of EnRoute artisan bread rolls, including honey oat wheat rolls, French michettes, and sesame semolina ciabattas.

Oman tops Middle East Economy ranking
Oman Air has been announced as the winner of the ’Middle East’s Leading Airline Economy Class’ category at the World Travel Awards 2013.
The awards, which recognise commitment to excellence, are voted for by travel and tourism professionals worldwide. Oman Air’s latest success continues its run of international industry award wins in recognition of recent developments including the introduction of new aircraft, the inauguration of new destinations, the unveiling of upgraded interiors – including its A330 Business seat, named as the World’s Best at the Skytrax 2012 World Airline Awards – and the launch of state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment systems.
