In conversation with...  LSG Sky Chefs talked about the


importance of design, development and sourcing across the worldwide cabin which will now be the responsibility of the company’s new dedicated and independent


brand, Spiriant.


Other services, such as sourcing and supply chain, are also now part of the Spiriant brand including SkylogistiX and Kuehne + Nagel.


Spiriant’s eco-friendly Enlight range features products made from waste material taken from the food and alcohol industries.


LSG Sky Chefs has also developed a slot tray and glass rack that has reduced breakages by 70% and is more hygienic for passengers and crew. LSG Sky Chefs’ all-composite Quantum trolley is now flying on Lufthansa and will soon be on Condor. It is a past Crystal Cabin Award-winner for its durability, insulation properties and weight savings.


Said Spiriant md, Alexander Spahn: “The team at Spiriant has a different


mindset to LSG Sky Chefs and needed a new identity. Spiriant symbolises a combination of art and mind, emotion and function.”

commodities.  Gategroup has entered a new partnership with Cuisine Solutions. The partnership means that Gategroup will have exclusive rights to production, distribution and marketing of Cuisine Solutions’ products in the North American airline
