120,000 Sq Ft Industrial Letting at Leftfield Park
Joule UK Limited, the UK’s largest supplier of hot water cylinders and heating solutions, has made a strategic move to Leftfield Park, a two-unit, newly developed industrial scheme off J32 of the M62 in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.
Leftfield Park
The company has consolidated its manufacturing and distribution facilities to the prime Grade A scheme of two units of 83,000 and 35,000 sq ft on a 15- year term. CBRE’s Industrial team, joint agent with Carter Towler, has secured the lettings at Unit 1 and Unit 3 just months after the scheme was launched to market by Leftfield Properties.
Leftfield Properties acquired the two newly developed units from Gregory Properties at the end of 2020, after having purchased an existing 21,400 sq ft unit at the same location in June last year which has now let to GEOAmey.
Danielle Raunjak in CBRE’s Leeds Industrial Agency team, commented: “We are delighted to secure this deal with Joule UK Limited, a market leader within its field and so soon after the scheme was launched to market. It’s a testament to the significant demand for highly specified units of this size along the M62 corridor at a time where there is limited supply of industrial space of this calibre in a strategic location.”
Nico Fourie, CEO of Leftfield Advisors Limited, commented: “Leftfield Park is a well-specified warehouse development on the underserved M62 corridor. The property was identified as a strategic addition, in a key location, to the Leftfield Properties portfolio. The letting to Joule UK Limited now completes the park with another covenant that both strengthens the asset and enhances the portfolio.”
Two Landmark Sheffield Buildings go up for Sale as Pantera Appointed by LPA Receivers Wilson Field
Expert property valuation and disposal firm Pantera Property has been appointed by LPA receivers and independent insolvency practitioners Wilson Field to sell two landmark Sheffield properties in the Castlegate area of the city centre. The Old Town Hall and the former Cannon Hotel on Castle Street were owned by developer Aestrom and are now in the hands of LPA receivers after the business fell into financial difficulties.

With a guide price of £1.35m, the over 40,000 sq ft, four-storey grade II- listed property has planning consent for a mixed-use development of 12 serviced apartments, along with 12 hotel rooms, a roof terrace and commercial uses on the ground floor and basement.
Opposite the Old Town Hall, also on Castle Street,
the four-storey former Cannon
Hotel has been converted into three luxury 1,000 sq ft, three-bedroom apartments with open-plan kitchens and reception rooms. The development also includes two 1,000 sq ft retail units on the ground floor and basement.

Rebecca Schofield, partner and head of the Yorkshire industrial team at Knight Frank, which acted on behalf of AB InBev UK with joint agent CPP to sub-let the remainder of their lease at the site, said: “IDMH swooped quickly to secure this site. There is short supply of this type of unit of this size to satisfy demand.
“These premises are ideal for a company
