Berrys has grown its commercial services, which now includes a range


of engineering services, architectural and building consultancy. My background is commercial, development and investment agency. During my years as a Chartered Surveyor, I have worked with many corporate occupiers and indeed this now forms a significant part of my work. Over the last 18 months and during the backdrop of a pandemic and Brexit, we have concluded several large transactions on behalf of this occupier client base. This service area continues to grow, with our relationships taking us across the Country acquiring buildings for new regional operations.


Success has come through our relationships with these occupiers, providing a high-quality service from professionals who have worked for many years in the industry. Berrys continues to grow its business, with


our emphasis to ensure that the right level of professional is servicing the client to the highest standard.


We continue to work with our landowner clients, providing strong advice to assist them in their understanding of all markets, with a strong focus on the industrial and warehouse market. These clients are spread across the Midlands and with our knowledge of both developer and occupier requirements we are able to ensure that the landowner feels supported in their transaction.


Complimenting this, we have seen growth in demand from both the private and public sector for consultancy services. Again, due to our range of services and professionals, we are able to draw upon architectural, planning, project management and engineering services all from within Berrys. The result bringing a collaborative approach to a client’s project.


The commercial property market looks to remain strong in the industrial and warehouse sector and we expect the type of occupier demand to widen as more occupiers seek to improve the quality of their real estate and its efficiency. The level of demand and shortage of available industrial / warehouse stock in the market is affecting occupier’s ability to progress their property needs.
