Generally, the PIC will be standing at the bottom of the stairs in order to personally greet the passengers and coordinate boarding, carry-on and stored luggage. FBO’s vary so the PIC may greet the passengers in the boarding lounge and escort them to the aircraft personally. SIC coordinates with the PIC and Line Service luggage loading in the baggage/cargo area. The Flight Attendant should be either standing in full uniform at the top of the stairs or right inside the cabin. You should be the first thing they see when boarding the aircraft. Greet passengers as they board and introduce yourself. Assist any passengers with stowage of carry-on bags and monitor the cabin. Offer to hang jackets and coats.
Offer pre-departure beverages (if applicable) on a silver tray with a cocktail napkin. If it is especially hot or cold you can offer chilled or hot towels at this time as well.
