Some of the advantages of “vacuum flush technology” systems is the increased safety attributes through less risk of corrosive waste “spill over” into recesses around the lavatories which can be difficult to protect.
Additionally, “vacuum flush systems” are considered to be less odor-inducing and substantially lighter which bear substantial fuel savings by way of reducing the need to carry excessive “blue recirculating water” as in the past.
Some older model aircraft require the Lav door to be locked to illuminate the Lav interior or activate water flow.

There is no uniformity in corporate aircraft galleys because they are all custom built Since this is the hub of your work onboard it is imperative that you familiarize yourself with each distinct aircraft galley and it’s features.
