While you have a moment, serve Pilot’s beverages and snack items. Serve the pilots something that will hold them over until you can prepare a full meal for them inflight. If it is a very short flight, 1 hour or less most likely they will not eat anything.
Return “WELCOME TABLE” items in appropriate places in the cabin. RE-SET WELCOME TABLE
You may need to spread these items out to different locations after takeoff due to spacial constraints.
MEAL PRESENTATION/MENUS
After the beverage service ask the VIP when they would like to be served their meal. The beginning of the service will be driven by when the passengers would like to dine. The presentation of the courses of service can be done verbally or by menu. If you are going to verbally describe the food try to make it sound as appetizing as possible.
When deciding to use menus inflight ALWAYS ask the Lead FA or PIC if menus are part of that flight department’s SOPs. Be prepared for everyone to eat all at once or for people to eat separately at differing times.
