Did You WHAT IS AN ENTREPRENEUR? KNOW?
It was a Kerry man, economist Richard
Cantillion, who first coined the word
‘entrepreneur’ in the eighteenth century.
Many of the well-known businesses that exist today began when an individual had an idea for a new product or service and put in the time, effort and money to make it a reality.
A person who sets up a business is called an entrepreneur. They are willing to take a risk with their own money to produce a new product or service that can be sold at a profit.
