Each department in an organisation has many employees within it. In charge of these employees is the department manager.
• The finance manager is responsible for all of the organisation’s financial transactions, including the payment of bills and the receipt of income from sales.

• The marketing manager is responsible for advertising and promoting the organisation’s product.
• The production manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and making sure that goods are produced on time and to the required standard.
• The human resources manager is responsible for recruiting new employees, organising staff training and dealing with any employee issues.
All of these managers report to the managing director, who is responsible for the organisation’s overall performance.
