APAC region are set to exhibit this year, providing an offer that can only be found at in-cosmetics Asia whilst catering to companies of all sizes including local indie brands. Local companies confirmed to exhibit at the 2019 show include the likes of Azelis and Summit Chemical Company from Thailand, Yeomyung Biochem from South Korea, Ikeda Corporation and Japan, and Guangzhou KingPowder Technology from China.


New from exhibitors ADPCosmetics will launch a new non- nanometric mineral UV filter at the show that completes the enhance brand: enhanceU-SunT, whose coating is specific for oil phase dispersion. The INCI is: Zinc oxide (And) Titanium Dioxide (and) Stearic Acid (and) Alumina.


The oil phase dispersion is facilitated by the stearic acid coating, suitable for natural formulas and which is an alternative solution to coatings such as dimethicone. enhanceU-SunT is designed to meet the main challenges in formulation: high SPF and broad spectrum protection (SPF50+ & PA ++++ with 15%wt); photostability offered by the alumina coating; stability and ease of use, minimising the effect of agglomeration and with easier dispersion than other mineral UV filters; sensory,


offering a transparent effect and great extensibility; safe handling, due to a non- nanometric particle size; natural formulas. Combined with enhanceU-T colour


filters, different shades may be achieved in cosmetic formulas, extending their use to colour cosmetics, in addition to sunscreens. Azelis runs fifteen personal care application laboratories, of which seven are located in Asia Pacific. Because of this extensive research and formulation support, the APAC team has been awarded no less that 11 industry and partner awards in 5 consecutive years for the work done in those laboratories, the most recent award being the 2019 Ringier Technology Innovation Award in China.
