Procedure


Heat the water to 80°C, add the starch powder with stirring. Premix phase B and add to A. Once homogeneous add phase C with gentle stirring, reheating if necessary. Premix phase D and add with gentle stirring. Once cool and homogeneous adjust the pH as shown.

PHASE A In main beaker, add Phase A ingredients mixing with propeller mixer and heat to 40-45C. Transfer Phase A to homo-mixer maintaing the temperature 40-45C. PHASE B In side beaker, add Phase B ingredients mixing with propeller mixer and heat to 40-45C. Slowly add Phase B to Phase A with homo-mixing . Continue mixing Phase AB for 10 - 15 minutes. Cool down Phase AB to 30-35C with homo-mixing. Switch to side sweep mixing at 30- 35C. PHASE C Add Phase C ingredients to Phase AB at 25-30C and mix until homogeneous. Adjust pH to 6.50-7.50.
