Pioneer in biotechnology, GREENTECH GROUP creates high-tech active ingredients from natural sources from plant, marine and microbial worlds. Addressed to major markets (cosmetic, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, feed & food, agronomy and environment), the GREENTECH GROUP’s innovations represent proven and sustainable alternatives, based on balanced relationships with local producers around the world, in the service of future generations. We source nature to resource the future.
UPCYCLED BEAUTY: THE RISE OF UPCYCLED COSMETIC INGREDIENTS The cosmetics market reflects the societal advances of the world we live in. Consumers want to consume less but better, to take part in the global project of saving the planet by giving meaning to their purchasing actions. Consumers are becoming consumer actors and play an essential role in the evolution of global consumption. With concepts such as clean beauty, slow- cosmetics, farm-to-face, zero-waste cosmetics, including natural, sustainable and fair-trade ingredients, upcycled beauty is a key trend that is becoming more and more established on the cosmetics market. Since its creation, GREENTECH has been committed to the development of active cosmetic ingredients with respect for
nature and people. This pioneering commitment is pursued in collaboration with our partner producers, with projects aiming to valorize byproducts from other industries (upcycling approach) and by encouraging them to integrate downgraded fruit and vegetables into our orders that would otherwise be lost (zero waste beauty approach).
HYDRALYS®: SKIN THIRST QUENCHER & LONG-LASTING MOISTURIZER HYDRALYS® is a natural active ingredient titrated in sugars, sourced from organic Cantaloupe Melon from Provence (France). In accordance with GREENTECH’s purchasing policy and in agreement with the producer, downgraded fruits are used to produce HYDRALYS® when available. Melon is a water-rich fruit containing sugar-based mucilage. The small sugars and film-forming polysaccharides (constituting the mucilage) are extracted through a gentle extraction process. They ensure optimal hydration of the skin when applied to its surface: they limit transepidermal water loss (dehydration) and bind water to maintain hydration of the stratum corneum (NMF-like effect). In vivo, HYDRALYS® quenches the skin instantly and throughout the day (up to 8 hours after application). China compliant / COSMOS-approved / Natural origin content (ISO 16126): 99.55%
LIFTISS®: INSTANT SMOOTHING EFFECT - ECO-DESIGNED TENSOR LIFTISS® is an eco-designed natural active ingredient titrated in tightening polysaccharides and in plumping NMF-like free sugars and alpha-hydroxy acids, delivering a complete instant solution against visible wrinkles and to prevent their worsening. These molecules were extracted from organic baobab Adansonia digitata fruit pulp (known to be a superfood), which is a byproduct from baobab oil production in Burkina Faso (one of GREENTECH’s historical sustainable supply chains, related to the production of LIPACTIVE BAOBAB). Polysaccharides deliver an instant tightening effect at skin surface thanks to their high molecular weight and film-forming property (corrective approach against wrinkles). As natural moisturizing factors (NMF), free sugars and alpha-hydroxy acids moisturize corneocytes, plumping skin and increasing its elasticity, to better resist against mechanical strains caused by facial expressions that worsen wrinkle severity (preventive approach against wrinkle formation). Clinically tested on volunteers, the synergistic activity of these molecules offers an instant smoothing effect on wrinkles and skin microrelief as well as a radiant fresh complexion. China compliant / COSMOS-approved / Natural origin content (ISO 16126): up to 100%
