Procedure: Mix the components of A and heat to 80°C. Mix the components of B and melt at 80°C. Add II to I and homogenize at 19000 rpm for 2 min. Cool down to room temperature while stirring (200rpm, U shaped-stirrer). Add components of D and stir at 200 rpm until homogenous. Finally adjust pH with E between 5.5–6.0. Properties: Viscosity (Brookfield, 20°C 20 rpm): 15-20 000 mPas pH: 6,1. Stable 3 months at RT, 50°C and 3 cycles -5/45°C. Passed European Challenge test, criteria A. Passed Patch Test.

Procedure: Disperse Carrageenan into glycerin and add to agitated water until homogenous, heat to 80°C. Combine phase B and heat to 80°C. Pour phase B into phase A while stirring (400 rpm) Combine phase C and add while stirring (200rpm), cool to 40°C. Add each ingredient of phase D individually and mix until homogenous. Add each ingredient of phase E individually and mix until homogenous. Check pH is at 5,5. Properties: Viscosity (Brookfield, 20°C 20 rpm): 25.000 mPas, pH: 5,5, stable for at least 3 months at RT, 40°C and cycles, passed EU Challenge test
