Procedure: Phase A: Add water to the main beaker and begin mixing. Slowly sift in AMAZE™ XT and mix until well incorporated. Add remaining ingredient and begin heating the mixture to 75-80°C. Phase B: In a side beaker, combine sunflower oil and Dicaprylyl Carbonate. Next add the zinc oxide under moderate homogenization, ~2,500 rpms, and mix for 20 minutes. Begin heating to 75-80°C. After 20 minutes, begin adding all other ingredients except SolAmaze™ Natural Polymer. Once the phase has reached the desired temperature, add in the SolAmaze Natural and mix until incorporated. Slowly add phase B to phase A under strong homogenization, ~5,000 rpms, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and lower mixing speed. Phase C: Once formula has reached 40°C add preservative and switch batch to sweep on an overhead mixer at 25 rpms. Allow to cool to room temperature. Some say that the Bare Necessities are all you need, but we like to think otherwise. However, for your shower routine, we suggest using the Bar Necessities Cleanser bar. The use of Elfan® AT 84G in this product gives the cleansing that can remove soil without stripping the hair or body of its natural oils. Building on the mildness of Elfan, Arquad® PC SV-60 PG ensures that the hair gets some conditioning and a smooth feel after rinsing away the suds. Lastly, the addition of ElfaMoist® AC adds to the lasting coniditioning effect after washing.

Procedure: To begin, add the Arquad® PC SV-60 PG surfactant followed by all other ingredients to a vessel and set to mix with heating set to around 60°C. Once all the ingredients in Phase A have been melted into a homogenous solution, proceed to Phase B. Once all of Phase A has completely melted, add ELFAN® AT 84 to the mixture and allow to melt into solution before holding the batch at temperature for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove from heat and begin to allow the mixture to cool. Once the batch has reached 40°C, add the ElfaMoist® AC humectant followed by the remaining ingredients in Phase C, adding one at a time while giving sufficient time to mix between additions. Once all ingredients have been added, pour into molds and allow to cool completely. With regards to the Gardenia Colorants, these work best when prepared in a dilute solution beforehand (1%) and then added dropwise to the warm mixture until the desired color has been acheived.
