COMPANY PROFILE NOURYON

HIGH-PERFORMING AND SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS FOR PERSONAL CARE FORMULATIONS Our technologies and expertise deliver the essential solutions you need to create the finest, most efficient, and sustainable personal care products, meeting market trends with sensorial characteristics and benefits to match consumer expectations. Our range of aesthetic modifiers, conditioning agents, rheology modifiers, film-formers, chelates, emulsifiers, eco-friendly

propellants, stabilizers, cleansing and suspending/gelling agents, and active ingredients provide formulators with easy-to-use solutions for developing more sustainable products. Our scientific approach to innovation and best-in-class technologies -- biopolymers, synthetic polymers, chelates, cationic

surfactants and fatty amines, anionic surfactants, cellulose gums, dimethyl ether, hydrogen peroxide, sodium and potassium hydroxide -- are the backbone of our specialty ingredient development.

FEATURED SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS: ■ AmazeTM

Nordic Barley is a 100% natural, unmodified, COSMOS approved starch ideal for skin, sun and hair care formulations

as well as color cosmetics. It has excellent microbial purity and is produced without the requirement for irradiation or other treatments. It is eco-consciously sourced from Scandinavia as a side product from beverage manufacturing.

■ SolAmazeTM Natural polymer is a novel 100% bio-based, biodegradable, film-forming polymer that offers superior water

resistance and pleasing aesthetics for high SPF emulsion sunscreens, and also shows great benefits in personal care applications outside of sun. SolAmaze Natural is globally approved and was developed to maintain the performance of leading synthetic polymers while reducing the persistence in the environment.

■ AmazeTM XT polymer is a naturally derived, multi-functional polymer that provides long-lasting hold under highly humid

conditions in styling products, without the tack and flake often associated with gels. It also serves as rheology modifier providing additional stability and viscosity to the formulation in both hair and skin care formulations and can help suspend mineral UV for more even distribution in sun care applications.

■ AmazeTM SP is a 100% natural polymer providing humidity resistant style retention, volume and anti-frizz performance. Its exceptional sensory and look makes it the ideal choice for natural and nude styling products that deliver touchable hold.

■ Cekol 150 is a COSMOS accredited and biodegradable cellulose gum that provides good absorption, film forming properties and excellent texture and sensory in Personal Care formulations. This grade lends itself perfectly as aesthetic enhancer for emulsion systems in skin care, where it improves the texture and the creaminess of the emulsion.

■ Arquad® PC SV-60 PG surfactant is an easy to use liquid vegetable-derived, biodegradable cationic conditioning agent that also performs as an emulsifier. Due to its cationic nature and unique structure, it is substantive to both hair and skin.

■ Elfan® AT 84 is an easy to use, non-ethoxylated sulfate-free anionic surfactant that provides effective cleansing and similar flash foaming (instant foam) to sulfated surfactants (SLS benchmark), even in hard water. Based on vegetable fatty acid and readily biodegradable, it has superior clarity over other sulfate-free cleansers due to its highly efficient synthesis and low residuals.
