Guido Rizzo, MGR

Italian seating manufacturer MGR, broke from the norm by developing a range of specialised products, entirely dedicated to the reopening of casinos and slot clubs, including a range of dividers, a temperature testing station and a sanitising gel dispenser.

Guido Rizzo, Global Sales Director of MGR, said: “We thought of #RestarTogether, a line of products made by us and our collaborating companies to give our customers the best possible support, with the quality and convenience inherent in our corporate philosophy.

“We immediately thought of a solution that allows all our customers worldwide, from large casinos to small operators, to create a separation between slots that allows them to keep social distances, without having to distance the slots, and therefore reduce their number in the clubs or

Thanks to the collaboration with our partner company, we have developed a thermic camera with facial recognition. The solution allows, with a self-standing totem, to measure the temperature of everyone who wants to enter the club or casino. In this way, it will be clear to customers and players that everything is being done to keep the premises as controlled and safe as possible.

on the floor,” he added. “We have created an entire collection of polycarbonate separators, from an entry level solution dedicated to street market machines/awp to slant top machines, to more structured solutions for video-lottery and casino slot floors.

“Tanks to our internal production capabilities, we have developed a convenient and efficient five-litre capacity sanitising gel dispenser, refillable, customisable with dedicated logos and patterns, equipped with directions for use and a convenient side shelf for masks or gloves: an ideal solution to create hygienic points at the entrance of facilities or in various crucial points of the floor.

“And thanks to the collaboration with our partner company, we have developed a thermal camera with facial recognition,” Mr. Rizzo added. “Te solution that we propose allows, with this

self-standing totem, to measure the temperature of everyone who want to enter the gaming club or casino. In this way, it will be clear to customers and players that everything is being done to keep the premises as controlled and safe as possible. All this, in an absolutely efficient way, without being invasive with customers and without endangering the health of its employees.

Te thermal camera/facial recognition system can also be connected to existing access systems, such as sliding doors or electrified turnstiles, all without the need for an installation and with a two-years warranty.

“We are constantly working to find solutions to the significant operational difficulties that our customers will face in the coming months, and we will be shoulder-to-shoulder with them trying to support through all their needs and problems.”
