INSIGHT AFRICA QUIXANT

INSIGHT AFRICA QUIXANT

Could you provide an overview of Quixant's presence in Africa? Who are Quixant's customers in the region? Does Quixant have a dedicated African team?

We are engaged in collaborations with a number of providers to enable them to introduce a range of slot and ETG applications into the African market. Our partnerships, while confidential, span across multiple businesses. Primarily, we collaborate with European-based OEMs who are strategically expanding their presence within Africa.

However, we remain open to developing relationships and undertaking projects with Africa-based organisations. Whilst we currently do not have a dedicated team specifically for the African region, our European operations enable us to seamlessly deliver our hardware range of hardware solutions, encompassing gaming computers and cabinets.

Furthermore, our provision of dedicated software support within a suitable time zone ensures efficient assistance for our customers.

How has the African gaming environment evolved during Quixant's involvement in the continent?

Over the past six-seven years, there has been a notable surge in demand for next-generation slot machines in Africa, extending beyond established markets like South Africa to emerging ones such as Nigeria. Tis heightened interest is met by an evolving landscape of content which is becoming increasingly elaborate and necessitating more robust and feature-rich computer products.

Moreover, an increasing number of domestic independents and startups are considering entry into the market. In these scenarios, Quixant's range of turnkey offerings are gaining traction, providing a range of game changing options that cater to all performance and budget requirements and come with the support an expertise of Quixant to enable ultimate results.

What are the logistical challenges of operating in Africa?

As earlier mentioned, we typically collaborate with OEMs based outside of Africa who possess expertise in navigating the intricate challenges surrounding machine import-export dynamics and regulatory compliance. While we do not directly engage in operations in Africa, our extensive global logistical experience and dedicated teams position us well. We are keen to leverage our logistical acumen to support the increasing number of opportunities associated with domestic OEMs, facilitating their seamless entry into the market.
