What are the most popular betting markets in Africa, and do these differ from one market to the next? For instance, is in-play as popular in Africa as Europe?
In general, betting stakes are lower across Africa than in European countries. With smaller betting stakes, pre-match multi-bets or combination bets are popular, in the form of 10- team and upwards accumulator bets.
Single-match betting isn't as popular as the interest is small stakes for a medium to large return. Other popular bets include first-player- to-score markets, correct score, and growth is seen in live betting.
