Suitable for both adults and children, the Shower Bath combines the function of a shallow bath, changing table and shower stretcher in one mobile package. People can be easily transferred onto the Shower Bath using a ceiling track hoist, mobile hoist or a lateral transfer slide. They can then be moved effortlessly, by two carers, from the changing area to a wet room. It is filled using a shower head and drained simply using the flexible drainage hose. The bath can be filled to a depth of 200mm allowing easier cleaning and helping people with joint stiffness to enjoy washing and relax in warm water. It is comfortable for users due to the soft padding, smooth edges and removable head support. The Shower Bath is height adjustable, via a battery handset which also raises the internal section to changing bench height. The rechargeable batteries are capable of 30 full load cycles.
