The Voice AlarmSystemis for people at risk from fallswhen rising fromtheir bed or chair and features alarmtone or voicemessage prompting alert. Voice Alarmprovides a reliable, economic solution. A durable bed or chair sensormat is connected to themonitor to detect a person in their bed or chair. If the person rises, themonitor beeper or voice prompt sounds until the alarmis reset. Suitable for falls preventionmanagement at home or nurse and care homes and can be enhanced by using the optional Door Open Sensor andWireless Pager Kit (below).
1 Voice Alarm Monitor
A battery operated monitor to be used with the Huge Bed Sensor Mat, Chair Sensor Mat or Door/Window Open Sensor available separately (see below). The monitor has a low battery level indicator, indicating when batteries need renewing. The alarm volume has 3 settings: silent (for use with the wireless pager kit, see below) for people who are upset by loud noises, medium or high for people with hearing impairments. The alarm will be triggered when a person leaves their bed or chair and will play repeatedly until the reset button is pressed. If a person is able to leave their bed independently, to go to the toilet at night for example, but is prone to falls on occasions, the Monitor can be programmed to not sound when they leave, unless they fail to return within 15 minutes - alerting a carer to the fact they may have fallen on route to the bathroom.
