The NRS Stand & Turn Transfer Aid is designed to provide the security and safety of a traditional patient turner whilst being visually less intimidating and easier to use/store.
The frame features:

The frame is easy to push into place in front of the user and placed under their feet (users only have to raise their feet slightly to allow the footplate underneath). The wheels are then raised so that the footplate is flat on the floor whilst the user is standing. Once the person is standing safely, the brake is then released by using the foot pedal and the turning action is performed. Once in position the wheels are then locked again allowing the user to sit down safely. The foot pedal is used again to allow the Stand & Turn to be moved away from the user easily.
