Handling Belts provide an additional grip for carers when assisting someone to stand and transfer. They are helpful when used in conjunction with transfer boards (see page 116/117) and turning aids (see page 114/115). They can also be helpful in providing increased security when practising walking at home and in a rehabilitation setting. Handling Belts should not be used to lift a person.

Exclusive to NRS, these Handling Belts feature a contoured design, fleece lining with anti-slip section and quick release buckle. Available in 4 sizes. Padded handles provide a secure but comfortable grip for the carer. The Paediatric size has three vertical and two horizontal handles, and the larger sizes have four vertical and three horizontal handles. Hanging loop for storage. Machine washable at up to 70ºC.

2 NRS Maxi & Mini Handling Belts
These handling belts offer all of the features of our standard handling belt range (except the anti-slip section) but now come in two new sizes. The Maxi Handling Belt features four vertical and three horizontal padded handles. The narrower Mini Handling Belt has two vertical and two horizontal, comfortable padded handles. Machine washable at up to 70ºC.

Simple and safe to use, this handling sling extends the carer’s reach whilst allowing close contact with the patient. Designed for durability, the Patient Handler is extremely secure. Features a matt surface to ensure good grip, contoured edges for comfort and twin hand holes at each end that make it suitable for use by one or two carers. Constructed from strong and flexible polyurethane material and supplied complete with user instructions. Wipe clean with a disinfectant solution. Dimensions: 520 x 210mm (20 x 8").
